| I WON ANOTHER EMMY |
6/28/08 |
|
I won my third Emmy award this past weekend in Atlanta, this time for Best Public Service Campaign. Yes, I won an emmy for public service. Can you say "Karma?" Here's a little statue for making the world a better goddamn place. I'd like to thank the indigent, who made all this possible. |

| NEW STORY |
1/20/08 |
|
Here's a story I wrote. In the grand tradtition of my website, It's not really good enough to submit anywhere, but then it's not that bad, and it needed a home. It's still better than 99.99999999999999% of the internet, so cut me some fricken slack. Read Gift. |

| HOUSECLEANING |
11/20/07 |
|
I cleaned up some stuff around the website. It's been long overdue, and there were cobwebs in the HTML, and a foul odor emanating from the basement. But a little elbow grease and a couple other cliches later, everything is BEAUTIFUL again. |

| STORY IN EDGE MAGAZINE |
10/4/07 |
|
The October 2007 issue of Edge Magazine features one of my stories. I just got a copy, and it's a really beautiful presentation. Thanks to Kirk (check his Rommel stories on the Rommel page) who is Editor in Chief of the magazine. If you're in the Tallahassie area, pick it up - Edge Magazine. |

| ROMMEL DON'T PLAY THAT |
9/9/07 |
|
I hadn't delivered the goods in a while, so I made a point to make at least a short entry into the world of Rommel Busker. He'll be appearing in my novel which I'll begin writing in about 4 months, so keep an eye out.

| STORY AT OPIUM MAGAZINE |
8/24/07 |
| I submitted a 500-word memoir for a contest at Opium Magazine. I didn't make the finalists, the but the folks over there were kind enough to ask if they could put it on their website. I guess that makes me, like, a published author and shit. Check it out over at Opium Magazine. |

| MORE SHORT ESSAY |
7/17/07 |
|
It's easy to seem productive when you write tons of things that are very short. This time I'm talking about the dominant discourse. AT times I'm talking in the dominant discourse.

| ANOTHER LITTLE TINY ESSAY-ETTE |
7/16/07 |
|
Everybody loves talking about prescribed gener roles. Why, just the other day I said to my friend Kirk, "Do you ever feel over-priveledged in this society simply because your a white male?" To which he replied, "Dude, I'm black." Read Gender Bender |

| ESSAYS |
7/15/07 |
|
For those of you who don't know, I'm working on a Master's Degree. I've written a few very brief essay snippets (with more on the way) that I thought were mildly amusing and decently written. Here is one of them.

| ROLL ON RODNEY - LIVE AND IN CONCERT! |
7/13/07 |
|
I'll be performing with the band Roll on Rodney at a benefit concert, July 28th on Tybee. I'll hopefully have some more details before then, so I can, you know, show up myself. |

| I MADE THE BEST COMMERCIAL IN SAVANNAH* |
5/25/07 |
|
According to the readers of Connect Savannah, the O.C. Welch Ford/Lincoln/Mercury commercials are the best in town. Those from the Savannah area surely realize the irony of this selection, but that don't mean it won't go on the old resume. (*People here are dumb.) |

| HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. T |
5/21/07 |
|
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy birthday, dear Mr. T.
I'm going to get sued by the estate of Patty and Mildred Hill. Look it up. |

| NEW/OLD SONG |
10/6/06 |
|
Not so much new as newly added. New to you, at least. New in a cosmic sense. New compared to Rennaisance polyphony. Recorded by a real band back in college.
