I won my third Emmy award this past weekend in Atlanta, this time for Best Public Service Campaign. Yes, I won an emmy for public service. Can you say "Karma?" Here's a little statue for making the world a better goddamn place. I'd like to thank the indigent, who made all this possible.

Here's a story I wrote. In the grand tradtition of my website, It's not really good enough to submit anywhere, but then it's not that bad, and it needed a home. It's still better than 99.99999999999999% of the internet, so cut me some fricken slack. Read Gift.

I cleaned up some stuff around the website. It's been long overdue, and there were cobwebs in the HTML, and a foul odor emanating from the basement. But a little elbow grease and a couple other cliches later, everything is BEAUTIFUL again.

The October 2007 issue of Edge Magazine features one of my stories. I just got a copy, and it's a really beautiful presentation. Thanks to Kirk (check his Rommel stories on the Rommel page) who is Editor in Chief of the magazine. If you're in the Tallahassie area, pick it up - Edge Magazine.

I hadn't delivered the goods in a while, so I made a point to make at least a short entry into the world of Rommel Busker. He'll be appearing in my novel which I'll begin writing in about 4 months, so keep an eye out.

I submitted a 500-word memoir for a contest at Opium Magazine. I didn't make the finalists, the but the folks over there were kind enough to ask if they could put it on their website. I guess that makes me, like, a published author and shit. Check it out over at Opium Magazine.

I'll be performing with the band Roll on Rodney at a benefit concert, July 28th on Tybee. I'll hopefully have some more details before then, so I can, you know, show up myself.

According to the readers of Connect Savannah, the O.C. Welch Ford/Lincoln/Mercury commercials are the best in town. Those from the Savannah area surely realize the irony of this selection, but that don't mean it won't go on the old resume. (*People here are dumb.)
